About the tax breaks

All the hullabaloo about extending the Bush era tax cuts, they are not tax cuts we've had these tax rates for almost 10 years anything they do now will be a tax increase. I don't know about you but we struggle to get through the week, through the month and pay all of our bills. If they really want tax reform let's go back to the Reagan era tax cuts. Remember what happened when Ronald Reagan lowered taxes for everyone, business and the economy went to record highs and stayed there for the duration of his presidency.
He overcame the Democrats majorities in the House and the Senate and still got things done. I am proud to have served with him as commander-in-chief.
In all honesty I did not vote for him either time because I was a diehard liberal Democrat I didn't become a Republican until Bill Clinton ran for office. Bill Clinton turned me into a conservative, and I have been a proud conservative ever since. You can label me as a Republican but you wouldn't be correct as my sidebar says I will go after hobbies or liberals any time they do something wrong and honestly Republicans have done a lot of things wrong in the past. In fact I really hope that this tax compromise fails, for two reasons the estate tax should be eliminated.  Kill the death tax..
Number two extending the unemployment benefits we just don't have the money to do that.

Taking the tax rates back to Reagan era taxes would give businesses more money, they would be able to develop. Possibly build new plants, hire new people pay more taxes would be a win-win situation.
Who knows maybe the need for unemployment insurance would even go down. Some of the lazy do-nothings sitting back and drawing their unemployment checks might even decide to go out and find a job. Wouldn't that be an amazing development?
