A Time for Choosing, Not Mitt Romney

This is an excerpt from Townhall.com

In reflecting on Reagan and Romney's role in the Republican Party, I drew inspiration from both men's words. Never being one of those activists who leaned heavily on "what would Reagan do" to cheaply win an argument full of intellectual void, I couldn't help but feel the very same conviction to rely on some of his words and formatting to argue for organized opposition to Romney's nomination. We can do better in this primary. It's time my fellow movement leaders take a public stand, lest they be responsible for very foreseeable ills that will pain our Party and the fight for real reform.

A Time for Choosing...

Those who would trade our principles for the bet of the compromising nominee have told us they can ensure victory without our nominee publicly endorsing reform policies. They call their policy “winning.” And they say if we’ll only avoid any direct harm to the nominee in waiting, he’ll come to our side, be convinced that the country truly is at a crossroads, along with our Party’s brand and learn to love us. All who oppose the nominee in waiting are given no refuge, no access, labeled as ideologues. They say we offer purist rhetoric to a complex election. Well, perhaps there is a purist answer—not an easy answer—but pure one: If you, here and now, have the courage to take a stand, say “Not Mitt Romney​”… that we want a nominee who will fundamentally reform the financial burden our country is crippled with and have a core, we will win.

Election primaries

I haven't said much about the elections.  So far I keep hoping that Rick Perry or Herman Cain will come out the winner in these primaries. I truly believe it would be the worst thing for the United States  If Mitt Romney wins the nomination. I don't think he could beat Obama. If he did win the election, he would be Obama light. In the last election.  I voted for John McCain.  Not because I liked him.  I never trusted him.  Not for anything, it was because Sarah Palin was on the ballot. It Romney were to win the election, Obamacare would be permanent if not even worse.  As a nation we cannot afford that to happen.

Mitt Romney is a flip flopper, he changes direction, depending on what direction the wind is blowing. I don't believe that he is being honest in his campaign. He is an anti-gunner, pro-abortion to me he is an un- trustable politician. What politician is trust worthy? I would vote for Rick Perry, Herman Cain, space, Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul. We need anybody but Obama or Mitt Romney. We cannot afford either one of them.  They will destroy this country even more so than it has been.
If Romney gets the nomination, I and a lot of other conservatives would be very tempted to just leave that check box empty. That would mean that we would have Obama for another four years.  That would not be a good thing, but who to vote for the devil or the devil’s partner.

A sense of shock and dismay is sweeping across America today as citizens learn of President Obama's authoritarian decree creating a form of Amnesty for illegal aliens. This act defies existing federal law, the US Constitution, the will of the Congress, and the will of the American public.
"Obama has just created a constitutional crisis by nullifying the US Constitution, existing federal immigration laws, the votes of the Congress, and every vote cast and e-mail sent by Americans who have defeated this Amnesty legislation eight times in the last six years," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "This is the death of a nation. This is the fall of the American Republic and the loss of all that our forebears have fought to build and preserve."
The US Constitution says that the American public is to dictate immigration policy via their elected representatives to the Congress. The public has spoken to elected members who oppose the steps Obama has taken. The election results have been nullified by Obama's actions, and the US Constitution has been rendered meaningless.
Existing federal laws say that illegal immigrants are prohibited from holding jobs in America and are to be deported when detected. Obama's orders change existing federal laws to allow millions of illegal aliens to forgo deportation and to take jobs American workers and legal immigrants need.
"We call on every member of the Congress and every presidential candidate to strongly condemn President Obama's actions today!" said William Gheen. "We call on the American public to get on the phones to the Congress to let them know these orders cannot stand. We need Americans to prepare to take to the streets if necessary to demand the removal of Obama."
Obama's orders to stop the deportation of illegal aliens is probably in response to the fact that more illegal aliens are leaving America because of the bad economy and increased enforcement efforts in states like Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Indiana. Each of these states reports an exodus of illegal aliens leaving in response to news that existing federal laws will be enforced by state governments.
ALIPAC is calling on Americans of every race, political party, and walk of life to unify in opposition to Barack Obama's dictatorial actions.
"We will no longer call him President Obama because he has nullified his legitimacy as president," said William Gheen. "He has declared himself a dictator and a traitor to the Republic. He is violating federal law by aiding illegal immigrants and he is violating the US Constitution by aiding an invasion of America. Obama must be stopped."

About the debt ceiling crisis

 

There is no debt ceiling crisis.  It is all smoke and mirrors.  I'm very disappointed in the speaker of the house and the Republican leadership in the House and in the Senate.  If nothing happens, we will not go and into default because there is no such thing as a debt default in the United States.  The government takes in enough money each month in taxes to pay the interest on the debt, maintain Social Security and Medicare and pay our Armed Forces with money left over. The people of Ohio should immediately start a recall petition to remove the speaker, and then the house should choose the new speaker from the Tea Party elected representatives. Pick someone who has the cajones to stand up to Obama and the Democrats.

Speaking of Obambi, Jimmy Carter has a smile on his face,  the size of Texas because he is no longer the worst president in the history of the United States. The Carter malaise has become the Obama malaise…..

So how about this.  I started this post a few days ago and now as we all know speaker Boner has betrayed us. Yes, that is his name to me from now on he is only good for about an hour use and then he’s useless. It really is time him for him to go…. 

Flash mobs aka criminals

Some of the best TV in America comes and goes too quickly. This past year we enjoyed the short-lived FOX police drama, Chicago Code. The show featured the battle for police resources in a city run by corrupt politicians with little more desire than to milk the system for perks, money, and power. However, we didn’t expect to watch its sequel as a reality horror show on the nightly news.

The specter of mobs of marauding youths beating random Chicago residents and visitors makes us all feel vulnerable. With apprehension, citizens watch over their shoulders when on the street to see if they are next. The issues raised by this early summer nightmare are serious and need to be addressed.

First, this Obama recession/depression has devastated inner city job creation. Only 54,000 jobs were added in May as the Obama recovery is in slow-motion, turning to the Obama double dip recession. There are still at least 14 million U.S. workers who can’t find jobs. When you add part-time or underemployed workers who want full-time jobs, the total rises to 30.6 million who want more economic opportunity.

Blacks and inner city youth are the hardest hit by Obama’s policies. According to the U.S. Department of Labor the percentage of black adult men with a job has fallen below 60 percent for the first time. The latest unemployment rate for black men is 16.1 percent. These unemployment numbers rocket higher when you study those formerly in jail or living in the most economically depressed big city neighborhoods like those in Chicago, formerly represented by Barack Obama.

According to the congressional Joint Economic Committee report: “The youth unemployment rate of 19.6% is the highest for the age group since the government began tracking the data in 1947.” In the U.S. 16-24 year-olds make up 13 percent of the labor force, but they represent 26 percent of the unemployed, according to the JEC report.

After the attacks, the liberal Democratic political machine in Chicago moved quickly to limit the PR damage. Obama’s former chief of staff and current mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, came out swinging. “I want all the young men that were involved in this,” Emanuel said. “Because I want to be very clear up front that as it relates to this crime, the full force of the law enforcement community and justice system will deal with it.”

It strikes us as ironic that these same liberal politicians who have spent a career stifling economic freedom and stealing opportunity from these youths, are now at the forefront of the parade seeking their quick incarceration.

Chicago business regulations are so prohibitive and Illinois taxes are so exorbitant that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why business job creators are fleeing to first Texas and then oversees. These young people need hope. Hope comes in the form of a job, a wage, a living, and a life.

As we watched the coverage of the “flash mobs” unfold, we were taken aback by the loot stolen. This paragraph from the Chicago Tribune is a good illustration:

Moments after a group of teens wrestled with Singer over his iPad and BlackBerry, members of the same mob attacked a 42-year-old doctor visiting from Japan. That doctor was beaten and robbed of his iPod Touch while walking in the 700 block of North Lake Shore Drive, authorities said.

These thugs are after the status symbols of wealth and Apple iPad or Blackberry.

These young people watch the same TV as all of us. They are grabbing for a symbol of the American dream. Given opportunity for a job, they could have these symbols legitimately, but not as long as they are being held back by a political establishment that is too intent on its own status. These ultra-liberals are crushing the American dream in their misguided drive to give us a European socialist utopia.

The Chicago streets are not the only place with robbing going on. Obama is stealing their dreams and their future.

FORGET THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE - HOW ABOUT ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE THAT OBAMA EVER EXISTED BETWEEN CHILDHOOD AND CHICAGO -
OK... this is past the 'birthers' questions.... this is just plain old common sense, no political agendas for either side. It’s just common knowledge that citizens of a country, especially American citizens, know tidbits about their presidents’ past.  Some even know that Andrew Jackson's wife smoked a corn cob pipe and was accused of adultery. History buffs know that Lincoln never went to school, that Kennedy wore a back brace and Truman played the piano.
Good grief... we are Americans! We are known for our humanitarian interests and caring for our 'fellow man'. We care, but none of us know one single humanizing fact about the history of our own president. It's niggled at me for ages that no one who ever dated him has ever showed up. his charisma during his campaign caused the women to be drawn to him. So obviously, it looks like some lady would not have missed the opportunity before he met Michelle....

We all know about JFK's magnetism. McCain was no monk. Palin's courtship and even her athletic prowess were probed. Biden's aneurisms are no secret. Look at Cheney and Clinton... we all know about their heart problems and certainly speaking of the opposite sex, how could I have left out Wild Bill before or during the White House?

But not one lady has stepped up and said, "He was soooo shy..." or "What a great dancer!!" Now look at the rest of this... no classmates, not even the recorder for the Columbia class notes ever heard of him....
.... I just dunno about this fellow.
Who was the best man at his wedding? Start there. Then check groomsmen.
Then get the footage of the graduation ceremony. Has anyone talked to the professors? It is odd that no one is bragging tha t they knew him or taught him or lived with him.
When did he meet Michele and how? Are there photos there? Every president gives to the public all their photos, etc. for their library, etc. What has he released? And who in hell voted for him to be the most popular man in 2010????
Does this make you wonder?
Ever wonder why no one ever came forward from President Obama's past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc. ??  Not one person has ever come forward from his past.
VERY, VERY STRANGE...
This should really be a cause for great concern. To those who voted for him, you may have elected an unqualified, inexperienced shadow man. Did you see a movie called The Manchurian Candidate?.....
Let's face it. As insignificant as we all are... someone whom we went to school with remembers our name or face ... someone remembers we were the clown, the dork, the brain, the quiet one or the bully… or something about us.
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News said the same thing during the 2008 campaign. He questions why no one has acknowledged the president was in their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus.
Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia -- the class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
While he is such a great orator, why doesn't anyone in Obama's college class remember him? And, why won't he allow Columbia to release his records?
NOBODY REMEMBERS OBAMA AT COLUMBIA
Looking for evidence of Obama's past, Fox News contacted 400 Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have been there, but none remembered him.
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root says of Obama, "I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia ... EVER!”
Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was also, like Obama, "Class of '83 political science, pre-law" and says, "You don't get more exact or closer than that. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was. The guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York, 'the macha' who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him."
Obama's photograph does not appear in the school's yearbook and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia ..
NOTE: Root graduated as Valedictorian from his high school, Thornton-Donovan School, then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major in the same class in which Barack Hussein Obama states he was.
Some other interesting questions:
Why was Obama's law license inactivated in 2002?
Why was Michelle's law license inactivated by Court Order?
It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases. WHAT!! ??? The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived.
No wonder all his records are sealed!
Please continue sending this out to everyone. Somewhere, someone had to know him in school... before he "reorganized" Chicago & burst upon the scene at the 2004 Democratic Convention & made us all swoon with his charm, poise & speaking pizzazz.

Get “er Done, Shut ‘er Down!!

I think it's time to take the speaker's gavel away from John Boehner , to me, he has proven to be a failure. He is a big government good old boy that is not what we need as speaker of the house. He and the rest of the Republican leadership in the house can get nine the 95 out of their heads.  They think that a government shutdown would lead to massive Democrat wins well times are different now, with the majority that they have in the House of Representatives.  Now all they have to do is nothing let it shut down. Instead of a continuing resolution with tiny little spending cuts really don't amount to the interest we pay on the debt in three or four days mean nothing in my opinion what they should be doing is pushing Paul Ryan budget to cut 6 trillion dollars push that budget stick to it.  No compromise, when the Democrats were in power.  There was never any compromise Republicans were not even allowed in the room when they were working on proposed bills like that monster healthcare, speaker Boehner you are the new sheriff in town. Just get ‘er done shut ‘er down.

A few things that must be done to preserve and protect our Republic, Defund Planned Parenthood, the EPA, Obama care, the Department of Education, and that stupid  whatever it is that funds the arts.  Defund any program that is backed by George Soros.

Capitol Chaos: Lawmakers Get Death Threats

I hope these union thugs are hunted down and made to pay for this. This is only one of many that have been received by the lawmakers. I would hope that Gov. Walker will abolish the public unions. They don’t deserve the right to take part in public discourse.

MADISON - The State Department of Justice confirms that it is investigating several death threats against a number of lawmakers in response to the legislature's move to strip employees of many collective bargaining rights.

Among the threats the Justice Department is investigationg is one that was emailed to Republican Senators Wednesday night.  Newsradio 620 WTMJ has obtained that email.

The following is the unedited email:

Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your familes
will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks. Please explain
to them that this is because if we get rid of you and your families then it
will save the rights of 300,000 people and also be able to close the deficit
that you have created. I hope you have a good time in hell. Read below for
more information on possible scenarios in which you will die.
WE want to make this perfectly clear. Because of your actions today and in
the past couple of weeks I and the group of people that are working with me
have decided that we've had enough. We feel that you and the people that
support the dictator have to die. We have tried many other ways of dealing
with your corruption but you have taken things too far and we will not stand
for it any longer. So, this is how it's going to happen: I as well as many
others know where you and your family live, it's a matter of public records.
We have all planned to assult you by arriving at your house and putting a
nice little bullet in your head. However, we decided that we wouldn't leave
it there. We also have decided that this may not be enough to send the
message to you since you are so "high" on Koch and have decided that you are
now going to single handedly make this a dictatorship instead of a
demorcratic process. So we have also built several bombs that we have placed
in various locations around the areas in which we know that you frequent.
This includes, your house, your car, the state capitol, and well I won't
tell you all of them because that's just no fun. Since we know that you are
not smart enough to figure out why this is happening to you we have decided
to make it perfectly clear to you. If you and your goonies feel that it's
necessary to strip the rights of 300,000 people and ruin their lives, making
them unable to feed, clothe, and provide the necessities to their families
and themselves then We Will "get rid of" (in which I mean kill) you. Please
understand that this does not include the heroic Rep. Senator that risked
everything to go aganist what you and your goonies wanted him to do. We feel
that it's worth our lives to do this, because we would be saving the lives
of 300,000 people. Please make your peace with God as soon as possible and
say goodbye to your loved ones we will not wait any longer. YOU WILL DIE!!!!

The Gipper's 100th

Yesterday we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's  birthday. See me Valley and the Reagan Museum was alive with patriots and dignitaries, I didn't care too much for any of them other than Gary Sinise and Sarah Palin. They both knocked it out of the park as far as I was concerned.

Gary Sinise has done more for our troops and our veterans than anyone I can even think of, he has taken planeloads of school supplies and toys to the kids of Iraq. He gave a very inspiring speech during the celebration. He highlighted so many of Reagan's policy decisions and principles. If he ever decides to run for office at the national level or the state of California I will vote for him.
Gov. Palin also gave an extremely inspirational speech, I really hope that that was the prelude to a run for the White House in 2012. I found this article about her speech at Reuters.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb 4 (Reuters) - Republican Sarah Palin said on Friday an explosion of government spending and debt under President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats had put the United States on "the road to ruin."

In a tribute to former President Ronald Reagan, the potential 2012 White House contender said leaders in Washington had lost sight of the values that made Reagan a Republican icon and a hero to conservatives -- a belief in limited government, low taxes and personal freedoms.

 

I could not agree with her more, Obama is hell-bent on taking us into oblivion. I just hope I am alive long enough to see him thrown out of office, in 2012 if not sooner.

Olbermann Bites The Dust

The Intelligence Quotient went up about 50 points with the firing, quiting which ever it was on MSNBC of Keith Olbermann. Keef baby I ain’t never watched ya. . never will watch ya.  Hopefully Comcast will do a real house cleaning, they can raise it a few more by canning Madcow, Tingles and a few more, whose names I don’t know because I never watch that silly channel. It would be nice if it became a real news channel.
